My name is Jessica Andree and I am a doctoral student at Adler University completing my dissertation. Currently, I am seeking participants for my study that will explore stimulant misuse in recently discharged veterans. The title of the study is “Risk Factors of Stimulant Misuse in Veterans” (IRB #22-008).
For this study, participants will complete surveys regarding demographic information, military service, and stimulant use. Information collected will include, but is not limited to, age, race/ethnicity, gender, number of deployments, service-connected status, types of stimulants consumed, and amounts of stimulants consumed. It is estimated that participation in this study will be no longer than 30 minutes. Participants will have the option to enter a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card upon completion of the surveys.
In order to participate, participants must A) be a United States military veteran; B) have used any stimulant (including caffeine) in the past year; C) have been discharged from the military within the previous 24 months.
If participants are interested in the study, they can complete the survey at: https://adler.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3DahuV5gX459X7M
