‘The Rock’ Gifts His Own Truck To Navy Veteran To Thank Him For His Selflessness

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson invited fans to a special theater screening of his new movie “Red Notice,” and wanted to do something special for them. He provided free concessions and made their time at the movies as fun as possible.

But that wasn’t enough for the generous actor. He wanted to do something unforgettable for one fan.

He originally wanted to give away the Porsche Taycan that he drives in the movie, but Porsche wouldn’t allow it. That’s when The Rock came up with an even better idea: he would give away his own personal custom truck as a gift to one lucky fan.

He learned as much as he could about all of his fans at the screening, and one fan’s story stuck out to him.

Oscar Rodriguez, a Navy veteran, is a caregiver for his 75-year-old mom, leader at his church, and provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Since he is always doing things to help others, The Rock wanted to pay it forward to him.

When Oscar was surprised with The Rock’s truck, he was absolutely shocked and blown away.

“Get outta here, bro,” Rodriguez said with tears in his eyes. “I thought this was your truck.”

“It was my truck. It’s yours now,” The Rock replied.

The Rock posted the video of the surprise on his Instagram. “Go enjoy your new truck dude and Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!” he wrote.
