Seven Year Old Makes Inspiring Videos After Being Bullied

[ad_1]

Being bullied can be a profoundly isolating and disheartening experience. It makes it hard to reach out and get the support and confidence that you need to get through.

But for one seven-year-old from Rhode Island, it was the spark to spread positivity and joy online.

Rowyn was four years old when he was bullied for having a unibrow. That experience sat with him, and by the time he was seven, he’d taken a lesson from the experience.

“He came up to me, and he wanted to start making videos so that other kids — if they were getting picked on, or if they were just having a hard time — could watch his videos and feel better,” his mom, Michelle, told Denver7 news.

Rowyn encourages his viewers to “face your fears,” “be yourself,” and most importantly, to be kind to others.

In a YouTube video, his mom explained that “a big part of life is doing things outside of your comfort zone,” and that Rowyn “knows that expressing emotions is healthy [and] he can always talk to me about anything,” adding “he’s just a really wonderful kid.”

The internet, and social media in particular, can be tough places to express genuine positivity and emotion. But thankfully, Rowyn has been able to make a corner of the internet all his own and fill it with kindness.

Whatever he chooses to do in the future as he grows up, he is sure to bring light and positivity to the lives of others.
