Charlie Montanaro isn’t your average senior citizen.
At 100-years-young, this Carson, NV native still holds a passion for life that’s hard to come by. In fact, being a century-old doesn’t seem to be stopping him from much.
The World War II veteran wanted to do something special to celebrate his 100th birthday, so he decided to take himself skydiving.
Montanaro, who lives by himself and still drives, has spent his golden years enjoying a life of travel and adventure. He also regularly attends war memorials, thanks to Honor Flight, a non-profit that’s dedicated to helping veterans get to memorials.
It seems that he’s doing more than most people, regardless of age!
When his 100th birthday rolled around, he headed to Skydive Arizona and rode a plane 13,500 feet in the air.
Then, with the help of an experienced skydiver, he took the leap and had his first skydiving experience!
At the end of it all, he said he was ready to do it all over again.
What an inspiration!
