FINAL REQUEST : Veterans

[ad_1]

Thank you to those who have participated in this survey. This is the last time I will make a request in this sub about this survey as we will be analyzing the data this week. We’re still 39 participants short of our goal, so any more participants would be truly appreciated. Again, thank you to those who have participated, and thank you to all of you for your service to our country.

On a personal note, I really need to say how much your kindness in posts has meant to me. This study has been one of the most important things I’ve ever done, and the only way I could serve. So, thank you.

Information on the survey:

This study aims to further research in predictive factors of quality of life outcomes. So those of you who know the difficult process of transitioning out of the military- in terms of mental health evaluations- it’s not always conducive. It’s ultimately one of our goals with research like this to make that process more streamline and successful, in order to properly support veterans as they are transitioning into civilian life.

Participant info:

If you have served a tour overseas, are a US veteran, and have transitioned out of the military, I would like to have your input through https://uws.questionpro.com/t/ATEMnZnJgm

There is a consent form, a few demographic questions, and two surveys. The surveys take approximately 30 minutes and are anonymous. Further, the study is to measure “if factors of psychological flexibility predict outcomes” to improve transition to civilian life. If you’d like more info before participating, the survey link has more information, as well as contact information to answer any questions you may have.

-this is for a Masters in Psychology dissertation, hoping to be published to further the research
