I’m active duty and fully eligible for both MGIB and Post 9/11. I’m starting an online MS program in the fall at a public university and deciding which one to use.
I plan to take 6 credits per semester, and my school considers this “3/4 time.”
For Chap 33, does rate of pursuit affect tuition payments, or just housing/books? The VA site only mentions housing/books.
On the GI Bill Calculator, if I change the enrollment from full time to 3/4 time and so forth, it still leaves the tuition paid at 100%. Is this accurate? So essentially if I am only enrolled 3/4 time, I still get the maximum tuition paid for?
Also, unrelated, but if you select “MGIB” for the GI Bill Calculator, it labels the estimated payment as “housing allowance.” Why is that?
