Retroactive payments show in VA payment history but I haven’t completed all of my C&P appointments. What does this mean? : Veterans

I’m currently using chapter 33 gi bill and have not received a single payment for my semester that started on January 25, 2021. Zero BAH, book stipend, etc. I’ve been in contact with the VA education benefits department every week since February trying to figure it out. Apparently, my direct deposit payment information was changed to some USAA account sometime in February. I don’t have a USAA account and did not make any changes on the website or over the phone. I never received any sort of email or notification about my information being changed nor is there any record of it on the VA website for the date I was told it was changed. This leads me to believe it was changed internally but no one has a clue on how it happened.

I’m two weeks away from finishing my semester and still have not received payment so I am constantly checking my payment history on the VA website for an update. Out of nowhere, I see almost $30,000 payments to be paid out to me while doing my routine check-up yesterday. I’ve only completed one C&P appointment, have one scheduled and a third one still in the process of getting an appointment for. Does this mean that I was given a rating for the appointment that I have completed? If so, does the entire claim have to be processed before any payments are disbursed, or could I expect those checks to be paid out soon?

It’s been almost a year since I put in my claim. I wanted to cry when I saw them on the website yesterday but I don’t want to get my hopes up if this doesn’t even equate to a potential rating. Here are a couple of screenshots of my payment history the first one is from yesterday where the payments were separated and the second one is just from a few minutes ago in which they lumped a lot of them together and updated the bank info.

Edit: Whoops I meant chapter 33 not 31.
