Good mental health crisis outcome : Veterans

The other day I posted about being frustrated about not having mental health care nearby. Tonight I hit a point where I almost relapsed into self-harming behaviors and was having fleeting suicidal thoughts, and happened to remember the thread tied to my post and all of the resources you guys posted to help. I reached out to https://veteranscrisisline.net and took the self-help quiz. Within minutes I had a typed response outlining that I should chat with someone through the portal, but not forcing me to. That chat session talked me off of the ledge. So, thank you. I’ll make sure I pass it forward however I can.
