Behind-The-Scenes Of A Military Jet Fighter Photo Session

[ad_1]

The life of a photographer can be either easy-going or thrilling. It really depends on what type of pictures they decide to take and how far into it they will go. At times, they might even go to an extreme, and that is what we see with Enad-al-Otaibi.

Enad-al-Otaibi is a Saudi journalist and he went on Twitter to show the world his unique style of photography. He was taking part in a photoshoot high above the surface of the ground. The subject of the photoshoot was jet fighters, and you might be surprised with how interesting taking those pictures can be.

The photoshoot was organized by the Royal Saudi Air Force. It took place during a rehearsal for the 90th National Day of Saudi Arabia. That national holiday is celebrated on Sept 23 every year to commemorate when the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz was renamed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The celebration itself is joyous, with plenty of music and dancing. The streets and buildings are decorated for the event and people wear green and white. The year this photoshoot took place, jet fighter planes took part in a performance as well.

You can see Ahmed Hader, the Saudi aviation photographer directing the jet fighters as he took pictures. It seems that he took the photos while in a C-130 military transport aircraft and the subject of the photos are F-15 Eagles, a Eurofighter Typhoon, and a Panavia Tornado.

As the fighter jets fly in various formations, they are captured through the lens of his camera. Thankfully, Ahmed is safely hooked into the plane with a harness.
