Saying Goodbye to 2020 and Celebrating the Victories
2020 has been a year to remember – and a year to forget — but here at Veterans Matter, we are choosing to celebrate the victories. Like the number 755 — as in 755 veterans YOU housed this year! And the number 6 – a family of 6 from Crestview, Florida — the last family YOU housed this year, giving them a fresh start in 2021!
In a year that started off strong, then quickly began to spiral out of control, we began to question how much we would actually be able to do in our mission to combat veteran homelessness. But we knew one thing: pandemic or not, we would never quit fighting for them, just as they never quit fighting for us!

All thanks to YOU …
… and all the other Homeless Hero Advocates out there, we were able to house more veterans this year than any other year since Veterans Matter housed its very first veteran in 2012.
